Barclay Erskine is a family run plumbing business, based in Rutherglen, which has been supplying friendly and professional plumbing and heating services to Glasgow, South Lanarkshire and surrounding areas since 1862.

We specialise in domestic work for private clients although are also capable of undertaking work for small companies, housing associations, local authorities and organisations such as churches, bowling clubs, etc.

Our installers have many years experience in installation of replacement central heating boilers, full heating systems and bathrooms adapted to suit the needs of elderly or disabled users.

If your existing central heating boiler is ready for it’s annual safety check or you’ve noticed the pressure is dropping, we can visit and carry out the necessary work to give you peace of mind. As a GasSafe registered business, we are also able to provide the necessary annual checks on gas appliances for landlords

If your boiler is getting to the age where it may not be operating efficiently or has problems that aren’t cost effective to repair, we can visit your home and provide you with a fixed price quote to install a Worcester Bosch or Ideal boiler. As part of the Ideal Max Accredited Installer scheme, we can offer up to 12 year warranty on some models in the Ideal range.
